Lucy Thomas studied English Literature with Music at the University of York, and is currently completing postgraduate studies at Trinity College of Music, studying with Hazel Wood and Robert Aldwinckle.  Lucy is a soloist with a number of London based baroque groups including Artemis and the Hanbarne Baroque Ensemble.  She appears regularly at the Handel House Museum both in recital and in educational events.  Other recent performances include Samson with the Teddington Choral Society, and the role of Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls.  Further plans for 2004/5 include a programme of music from Restoration London (Chelsea Festival 2004), a recital of contemporary works for voice and piano, and the role of Adonis in a concert performance of J C Pepusch's masque Venus and Adonis

 Opera and music theatre roles include Angelina (Trial by Jury), 2nd Woman (Dido and Aeneas), Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Jill (Mr Cinders) and staged excerpt performances including roles from Egisto, Orfeo ed Euridice, Die Zauberflöte, Suor Angelica and Albert Herring.  Oratorio includes St Matthew Passion, Messiah, Samson, Faure Requiem, Vivaldi Gloria and Mozart Coronation Mass.
